What do I need to bring
We supply all the rods, flies, lunch, snacks, etc. All you need are weather-appropriate clothes, a good attitude, a camera for pictures, and a fishing license.
Do I need waders?
Waders are not necessary in the summer months. We typically wet wade. ( shorts and water shoes) Colder months will require waders.
Please ask us if you don't have any, and we can set you up!
I have never fly-fished. Is that ok?
Absolutely. We look forward to getting you started on your fly fishing journey. Typically, people become efficient enough to catch fish on their first day.
What is the best time to book?
Every day is a great day to go fishing! The most popular time is during the summer months, July / August / September, due to the consistent weather and fishing.
Will I catch fish?
We can't guarantee you will catch fish, but our guides are very good at what they do!
How doe we get to and from the river?
You will meet your guide at a predetermined meeting spot. They will take you to the river, guide you all day, and return you to your vehicle at the end of the trip!
Can I take my kid?
Absolutely we encourage youth on our trips! Our trips are for everyone of all skill levels!
Can I bring alcohol?
Due to legalities, no alcohol or cannabis is allowed on our trips. However, after our trips, we have a favourite beer and wing spot, so feel free to ask for recommendations!
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes you will need an Alberta fishing licence prior to your trip. You can obtain these thru the AlbertaRelm app.
